Job Description

Reports to: Site Superintendent

Summary:

Responsible for all work related to the project schedule and provides technical support and assistance to the Site Superintendent about planning.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for communication with the employer before the formal implementation of the project and work planning according to the request of the employer.
• Prepare the project schedule management system document, establish the project schedule system, prepare the project milestone plan, and prepare the project schedule. Review or assist in the preparation of relevant special plans.
• Track, manage, and check the project plan implementation.
• Provide assistance in the implementation process of major problems that cannot be decided. If the internal resources of the project can solve the problem then issue a consultation opinion; if not, seek the help from relevant experts and issue a professional solution.
• If needed, make extension of construction time certification.
• Responsible for preparing and compiling the overall project progress plan and communicating with relevant departments in time to update according to the progress of the project.
• Understand site progress, identify potential delays or slowdowns, provide correct opinions on potential site issues.
• Assist in managing and preparing monthly progress reports.

Qualifications:

• University graduated with Civil Engineering or Construction Management, with a minimum of 5 years planning working experience.
• Strong skills of English speaking and writing.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and Project software.
• Capability of understanding a CAD drawing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Detail-orientation, conscientious, flexibility and multi-tasking attitude.
• Attitude to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
