UWC Mostar seeks to appoint dedicated and inspired educators who are committed to the intellectual, social, and ethical development of students and who recognize that learning also takes place beyond the classroom. UWC Mostar offers:

Currently, the following position will be available from August 2024 until August 2025 as a temporary replacement:
- Teacher of IBDP German B and German ab initio, part-time position (75%) on fixed term – one position
Minimum qualifications:
- University degree in the subject or relevant fields (min 4-year degree/240 ECTS).
- Proven fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to use and leverage technology for the teaching and learning process.
Other desired qualifications:
- Commitment to UWC mission and values.
- International mindedness and ability to work well in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to develop good relationships within a team and work positively and constructively with others.
- Willingness to engage students beyond regular classroom hours.
- Willingness to assume pastoral care duties as house parent or residential mentor.
- Ability and willingness to actively participate in the school’s Co-Curricular program.
Main responsibilities and job duties:
- To prepare and perform teaching work with professionalism, and apply a high level of pedagogical and methodological skills.
- To plan and deliver the prescribed curriculum for the subject taught.
- To actively participate in the improvement of the teaching process.
- To constantly work on self-development and participate in professional development organized by the school.
- To monitor the academic performance of the students and report on it according to the requirements of the College.
- To perform residential duties when necessary.
- To supervise and administrate at least one CAS activity.
