Teacher of IBDP Global Politics, full-time position on fixed term
Minimum qualifications:
- University degree in the subject or relevant fields (min 4-year degree/ 240 ECTS).
- Proven fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to use and leverage technology for the teaching and learning process.
Qualifications that would be an advantage:
- Previous teaching experience, ideally in the IB Diploma Program.
- Previous experience working at United World Colleges or IB schools.
- Professional teaching qualifications.
- Willingness to assume pastoral care duties as house parent or residential mentor.
- Ability and willingness to actively participate in the school’s Co-Curricular Program.
- Ability of meeting all IB requirements and deadlines.
Other desired qualifications:
- Commitment to UWC mission and values.
- Willingness to engage students beyond regular classroom hours.
- International mindedness and ability to work well in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to develop good relationships within a team and work positively and constructively with others.
